I resurrected my French Press coffee pot recently and couldn't find the cover for it that keeps the coffee warm after pouring the first cup. So, up to the sewing room to rectify the situation. I found a piece of white diamond stitch cotton quilting from a project that had gone awry, and decided to put it to use. I sewed it to the proper dimensions and thought, "It needs a handle". Diving into the stash of variegated thread and found a pleasing color combo and created a Butterfly for the top handle. Attached same to pot cover, and here you go.
