I'm not from Memphis, but I have been there many times. I don't know anything about housing or anything like that. DH & I just love Beale Street, and we have taken the river cruise several times. There is also a dog track in West Memphis, Arkansas which is right across the river. There are several casinos in Tunica, MS which is about 30 miles from Memphis. You can tell that DH & I know all the gambling places, lol. We have also been so the zoo and to the gardens there.
