What should a woman have for breakfast on Valentine's Day when she has just been given 2 pounds of chocolate?

Is this a rhetorical question? Enjoy!

It's a complex mathematical formula, requiring more variables than we've been given.

1) How many meals are you planning on having today? 2) How many snacks? 3) A snack is defined as what fraction of a meal, size-wise? 4) Are you required to consume any Actual Food at any of these meals? 5) Did you want to have any chocolate left over at bedtime?

We need to plug in all these variables to do the math and tell you precisely how *much* chocolate should be served for breakfast. :)

No need to be greedy. Save 1 pound of chocolate for lunch.

What, she thinks it's too early for red wine? Coffee is good with chocolate! So is fruit, or brioche. I'd skip the bacon and eggs course. Roberta in D

Champagne and strawberries! While you are enjoying this great treat, you could be thinking of nice ways to reward the person who gave you 2 pounds of chocolate It isn't nice to brag about getting 2 pounds of chocolate. I have had a bad case of the flu this week, and chocolate doesn't even sound good. I must be in worse shape than I thought, lol.

To avoid this very question my DH gave me my wee box of Godivas at 5 minutes after midnight. No question then as to what is appropriate to consume at such an hour. It also ensured a most splendid breakfast for DH. Alas! Sulfites give both he and kiri wicked mean headaches, so I had the mimosa all to myself. I must say I excel at meal planning. (BEG)

NightMist Sneaky DH poked his nose in here to see if I had made mention of wanting anything fo Valentines!
