You would think ( and be right) that Kate T's battle was/is tough. But there was a funny time that shows the starch she has in her knickers. While she was battling that bad stuff, she was only able to speak about at whisper level. At the same time, I was fighting an allergy that made me wheezy hoarse. Just imagine the counter clerk at McDonald's with one customer whispering and one croaking. She talked to us both like we were 2 beers short of a 6-pack. The handicapped and ill and challenged face more Silly times than we had ever imagined. Kate doesn't have to whisper now; I've quit croaking. What a day that was. It did make us painfully aware that a person in a wheelchair can hear and a person who only wants a hamburger and fries isn't necessarily dimwitted or likely to become violent. Polly
