OT Knitting Project for Valentine's Day

OK, you might find this a bit odd:

The project is worth looking at just to learn how to connect licorice laces into one long strand. Lots and lots of craft potential there.

As for the thong, well it has to be more edible than boughten. Most cotton granny panties are more edible than boughten edible undies.

I was going to suggest that the pattern would easily morph into the male version of the same thing, but then I had my mental constructs of some of y'all's DHs march through my brain in gold lame posing straps. Thus I decided to beg you not to do it, or if you do, please don't tell me.

For those of use who are less talented- as in can't knit or crochet- I think you could adapt the idea to macrame??? LOL

Ewww! Think I'll pass on this one. Now I've got to scrub some images out of my brain.

NM -- girl you leave me gasping on the floor in laughter too many times. Your posts must come with a spew-fall-out-of-your-chair- humiliate-yourself-in-front-of-the-computer-warning.

As for the whole notion of edible ... unmentionables -- I had a bad experience with the ones you buy at that embarrassing store in the slightly-seedy part of bigger 1970sTexas cities. Scared me off ever wanting to try such a bad idea again. You don't want details....just know that I was young and maybe had one or two drinks in me.

You could just make Granny squares with the fused licorice and put some sort of tasteless but edible centerpiece on the kid's table for Easter. Heh ...

Sunny, still laughing
