For the past week, we've been basically stuck in our house as we've had a record snowfall and freeze. Before that we were never home, with rehearsals and performances. Somewhere between the two, I got laid off from my job. Now I have more time to quilt...and find that I don't really want to.
So....I've made a decision. I'm going to only buy fabric and thread to use in current projects, and no more UFOs. Anything else that is not for a planned project is going to be sold after the first of the year. I'm doing the same with a lot of my beading supplies, too. I think for me, it's time to really get down to basics and just concentrate on what's in front of me.
I'm doing the token job search while collecting unemployment. During those extra hours each week, I'll be cleaning out my craft room, getting it organized, purged of clutter, taking photos and cataloging. Anyway, for those who have known me for a while, you now have a small update. I'm still reading and thinking about you all.
