Just FWIW, I spent 15 or so minutes today beside a professional cake person in the waiting room of my doctor's office. I asked her if she had the remotest idea what would have made my cookies sticky. She declared that you can bake the same recipe a thousand times and still Failures happen. She had made 40 (oh my golly, yes ) 40, cakes for graduation parties that Saturday). I guess the conclusion of this one is if you bake gooey cookies to take them to a crawfish boil celebration, nobody will ever notice. If you're doing a tea for the DAR, maybe you'd better run by the bakery. =) Happy day. Polly
