OT: prayers

DH saw the doc today (all of us have seen docs in the last couple of weeks). They don't know exactly what is going on. took blood, put on antibiotic, have him scheduled for an MRI, and he can't go back to work until the 15th (just in case he has Mono). So...if you could keep all of us in your prayers, I'd appreciate it. Oh, they also think he might have kidney stones .

He needs patience to deal with having to stay down and rest, I need patience to deal with having him home 24 hrs a day and trying to keep the kidlets off him, the children need understanding to deal with this because they see Daddy as a big toy and always want to play with him. If he can't get any rest in the family room (he falls asleep to the tv sometimes), I'm going to have to confine him to the bedroom, which will force him to sleep as there is no tv there, and I won't let him play on the computer any more than brief bits at a time.

This is a rough time for all of us because Daddy just doesn't get sick...or if he does, it means he is REALLY sick.

I'm just trying to make sure all chores around the house get taken care of and whatnot, and I hope that if the test show it is mono, the children don't get it . I;ve had it twice before - was told once you get it, it stays in your body and surfaces when you have overstressed yourself - so I'm not really worried about myself...kind of a btdt sort of attitude.

Guess I'll be making homemade chicken noodle soup (with the correct ingredients) and pots of tea for the next few days.....be prepared for me to vent and moan over this

Larisa, do you ever have your hands full! Prayers sent your way for you and your DH and children. You'll get thru this....test are put to us all at times....but you'll get thru this. Venting and moaning can be good things! So vent away.

Prayers,

Donna in WA

Oh Larisa - my hugs and my heart go out to you! I wish I could just say, "send me the kids for a few days, we'll take care of them" or "I'll be right over with the chicken soup to help you with the house." I wish it were that simple. But know my thoughts are with you and my intentions are there!

Hugs, Tina
