OT request for DD

DD2 is wanting a career in travel. She is entering a contest for an internship this summer that required a video. How many people look at her video is considered in the contest. It is at youtube.com, put Bri Eggers in the search box, click on Super Travel Addict. If you are a member of youtube you can rate the video. We appreciate any help. Currently she is living with us and doing some sub teaching and looking for a job with benefits and travel. Debra in Idaho

Really cute video, Debra! I'm wishing her good luck in getting the internship.

Addendum: She is stressing out because she is not getting "enough" viewings, compared to others. It is short and funny. Please give it a view. The rating, which requires you to be a member, is not as important. Thanks.

Debra, I saw Bri's video and it was just too cute. If she is just looking for a job where she can travel would she be interested in being a flight attendant? If so, she needs to go to the aircraft charter companies and apply for a job. They generally train their own FA's or send them for training. Charter aviation is a whole different world than commercial aviation. She would be flying on private jets which generally, Gulfstreams carry 6-12 passengers, Falcons carry up to 10, Hawkers carry up to 10, Citations carry 5-8. So it's not like she would be dealing with the masses. She wouldn't have to worry about going through security at the airport since charter jets usually take off from the company hangar not an airport terminal. Travel could entail anything from business to pleasure, international or interstate, depending upon what the person who charters the plane is needing it for. If this is something she is interested in there are several charter companies in Nampa and Boise that she could check out.

We had our daughter set up to do this a few years back but she got pregnant and had to let it go. If I were 30 years younger I would do it. Tell her I said good luck.

Hugs, Mika
