Hubby calls quiltin' a hobby, though not in my earshot ... but he's quick to correct other when THEY (usually, our friends) call it a "hobby." He says quilting's too durn expensive to be called a "hobby!" :)
He HAS used the words "addiction," "habit," "lifestyle choice," and "obsession."
Everytime that he travels on biz trips, he always brings me back something sewin' related - fabric, thimbles, etc. He knows he's not allowed back in the house if he doesn't!! :)
