This weather is WICKED!!! Fortunately, I work from home. We're not flooded, only because the sand perks the water away - LOTS of standing water though. The kitties are VERY clingy today.

The only quilt shop in Destin is....well....okay, it just doesn't have the ambiance of Quilting by the Bay, or the personality, or the selection. When I finally get to a real quilt store, I want it to be an experience, you know what I mean? I want to see all of the new class samples, and feel like I can spend hours if I want to, and that if I ask for advice I will be set upon hungrily by employees and customers alike.

For those of you that come to the Emerald Coast on vacation, we're talking about the Panama City - Destin - Ft. Walton Beach area.

Cubanos.....yum! Where is that place?
