I shouldn't have looked!! I have to wait before I can order anything. Tomorrow DM and I are going shopping for fabrics for a couple of my projects. Well see how much of my budget I blow there first. Then I spend the rest on some of those lovely sale fabrics. Oh Leslie, you are such an enabler!!!

Can you find anything you need on her sale lists? That could save you a considerable amount for *more fabric*! Yep.... enabling! VBEG

Oh waaaah!! Are you going on vacation? To Seoul? I used to go to Tongdaemun for fabrics, but that was before I quilted. Wish I could go back. I loved Korea. If you go to Tongdaemun, have one of those doughnutty things they cook on the street for me. I never saw the correct spelling, but it's pronounced something like hoe-tahk.

It's a women's club federation conference -lots of fun and hard work with

150 of the nicest people I know. But we'll have at least an afternoon the day we arrive (travelling with my quilting buddy Chris!) And fabric shopping seems like the best way to keep awake until dinner time. We shall shop the market, eat a donut if we see one, and think of you! Roberta in D

One afternoon is not much for Tongdaemun. Be sure to stick some napkins in your pocket. The hoe-tahk are a round pastry about glazed doughnut size (but no hole), filled with a brown sugar mixture that runs all over your hands when you bite into it. The baker will give you a napkin, but they're very tiny and almost useless! They cook outside on the street on a flat grill. The bakers are usually sitting close to the ground, probably on a small stool. So look down for them! Yum. I can hardly wait for you to report back. Anyang hee ga say o! Wow. I am impressed!! I ordered some of the sale fabric I saw and decided I just live without. She had a very limited amount left and I ordered what the web indicated she had on Fri. When I got back on Sun. from a sewing weekend with some family and friends (was lots of talking and fun, little sewing as usual BTW) I had an email from her. She had found another yard and wanted to know if I wanted that too. I replied yes, and she replied back within an hour or two that she would include it and get my order mailed (this was on Sun still). She did indeed ship it right out on Mon. and here it is arriving at my place today!!! Beautiful fabric, wonderfully packaged in plastic inside the envelop to avoid damage during shipping too. And her shipping charge - $5.00. sticker on the package - $4.60 - Got to love that!!!! I will definitely be ordering from her again in the future. Thanks for turning me on to her store Leslie!!! For those who missed it, here is her web address (NAYY):

Yep. That's been exactly how she has been with every order I've made there, too. She truly knows the meaning of the words 'customer service'!

You're welcome! ;-)
