Wow did I get a great package from M-C! She sent me a set of Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze pens (I've been wanting to try them out), Some K & Co Idea Books, some Bazzill basics cardstock and the coolest Screwhead brads. She even made the prettiest card for me too and the cutest little teddy bear. Thank you for the goodies M-C. I look forward to using all of them. :-)
Teresa, that sounds wonderful. I can't wait till I can join the NSSSF rounds! Here's something you might want to try with those pens. I learned this from Gary, at Rubberstamp Fantasy, the LSS. It works best on transparencies or vellum, but I've done it on cardstock and it looks good. Take any design outline- rubber stamps work great- fill in each section with the Glaze pen color, then sprinkle it with translucent glitter while it's still wet. The color comes through, and the result is a beautiful stained-glass glitter look. I've used it on both cards and layouts. These pens don't write well on dark colored paper, but I've found that if you write first with white gel or opaque pen, then you can go back over it with any color Glaze pen and get a lovely raised look. Love my Glaze pens!
