Christmas with the Pox !

While those who never have the chicken pox are the luckiest (except when having to worry that they'll get them) followed by the kids who get them when young. I caught them from one of my students while student teaching. I highly recommend that you *not* get them as an adult. (And besides having to miss a week of student teaching while being miserable, my supervising teacher acted like I'd done it on purpose just to inconvenience her!)

Hi. I bet that wasn't what she really wanted for Christmas Huh. I'm sorry for her itches --I had the Pox when I was 16 years old and the only thing I got out of it is the love of Chinese Checkers.

You can always do a non-photograph layout documenting this illness. Use archival pink chalk to color some puffs and add photos/pictures of the calimine lotion and pills and maybe add a bandaid or two. And when she is ready you can always document the scars that are bound to occur once the itching stops.

I've got the flu with pneumonia so I know that being sick isn't fun during the holidays.

Hmmm, guess if they get so they can count your eyelashes, they must be close enough friends for you to not smack they for being so bold! LOL

Sure glad that she is all well and that she has other people to share war (well OK, chicken pox) stories with!

I remember that when my son brought them home, I expected allo the neighbors to tell their kids to stay away. Instead all of them sent their kids to our place to play! Seems everyone wanted their kids to have the pox as young as possible.

The younger the better. My husband had chicken pox in his early 20's and was in the hospital for a week he was so sick. I was 8 and barely remember having them.
