I am totally in love with the LifeTimez especially since I can use my Lettering Delights stuff in it. The one thing I can't figure out is how to make a 8.5 x 11 page that is oriented in the portrait format instead of the landscape format. Do you know how to do this? It is pretty hard working sideways LOL.

This feature is not currently available, but I am told by a member of our executive council that they are working on making this an option in the near future. So hopefully we just need to hang in there a little while longer. We are also expecting that the downloads and product registration will be available by the end of September or early October. However my rather vast experience with software roll-outs tells me not to be upset if it takes a little longer than that.

So I guess for now, you just have to keep on working sideways.

I figured a way around it for now, I started with a square format and then only used an area = to 8.5 x 11. I then saved it and then cropped it in Irfanview before printing. It worked out pretty good.

This afternoon my sister stopped by right when the mailman was delivering. My 12 x 12 printouts came from the first layouts that I did of my grandson. My sister thought that was great and said I wish I could do that and I said you can, that software I told you to buy at the demo for your daughter did it and I just uploaded them and then had them printed out on this cardstock! She was blown away and left to go home and install it (she actually had it wrapped for a Christmas present already...little Miss Organization LOL) I called her a half hour ago and she was busy scanning her photos LOL.

Sorry I must have missed this in the sea of posts.

The printouts were very nice, they printed the same layout on glossy, matte and heavy cardstock. I liked the look of the cardstock the best plus it was heavier making it feel more like a scrapbook page rather than a photo.

I got them printed at

For $5 including shipping they will print it out on 3 different papers plus sent some samples of their other products. You can even have a scrapbook page turned into a greeting card. The regular price for a 12 X 12 on cardstock is $1.75, $1.50 for glossy and $1.25 for matte. They have a scanning service which I am going to look into more this week. It cost 0.50 to scan your paper layout and then they will print it out. I have layouts that I know members of my family love and I was thinking of having copies made up for them. As for the TimeLifez I am enjoying it. I haven't bought any digital kits but I have taken advantage of all the free kits available for download and used them.

Oh I know why the Lifetimez is having photo display problems on my pc. It has to do with the Java installed. I run a program called dvarchive in the background and it requires an older version of Java. In order to use the Lifetimez with the photos displaying I have to stop dvarchive and start a later version of java and then everything works fine.
