I installed the program and I like it except I think something is not working right. Only the first 3 photos in a directory load and then it says image loading for the rest but they never load. All my photos are numbered so I am forced to use irfanview to see what the picture is and get the file name so I can click on the placeholder in lifetimez. Do I have to rename my photos in a certain way to get the thumbnails to display so I can choose?
I've not had that happen or heard of it happening so it is hard to figure out why it is happening. You may want to email the person that sold it to you. Or you can email me with your phone number and perhaps if we both have our programs up I can figure something out.
My husband put the program on his pc and then copied the photos into a folder and the same thing happened. It is only doing it with this folder of pictures and any folder that I downloaded from Walgreens. My husband suspects that Walgreens wrote something extra into the file that is causing the problem although he couldn't detect it. The original photos that were on my sisters pc opened fine so it just seems to be the photos that were downloaded from her Walgreen account. I emailed TLC and Walgreens so I will wait to see if either know why this is happening.
I went to a TLC demo, my sister in law's sister just joined up so she was clueless as to why this was happening. Thanks for your offer but I will stick to photos that I haven't redownloaded until we figure out what is going on.
I snapped a screenshot just in case one of your customers runs into something similiar.
Thanks for letting me know and for the screenshot. Can you print out the pictures you downloaded using any other program or does it do the same thing no matter which program you try to use?
I hope you find out why, but it sounds like your husband is on the right track if only those pictures are not showing up in the program. I hope your SIL's sister enjoys TLC as much as I have!
Yes I can print them out with other programs without a problem. I can even print them from lifetimez, I just can't view them as thumbnails to chose. If I click onto one of the placeholders knowing the image name it will add the photo to the layout. It is just a pain to have to use irfanview to see what the filename is of the photo that I want to use.
She doesn't know anything about scrapbooking. She sells anything or everything that she thinks she can make money with.
I have some pictures from Walgreens on my home computer. When I get back next week I will see if my pictures are doing the same thing. Hope you figure it out before that though.
