I am not sure is this has ever been discussed, but I recently found out that DMC has a mentor program. I think that this will be great for scout moms. They will send you 4 mini kits and you have access to other simple designs for additional projects. Maybe a great way to pass on our knowledge to anyone willing to learn.
If anyone has used this program, do you have any comments?
I signed up. The kit is OK, but very small. Too many color changes for a newbie, IMHO. I use it for girls in my GS troop who are interested in XS.
I really think they are aimed at "older girls" ;) and adults. Since I am about to attempt to teach 4th and 5th graders, I'm keeping the colors simple!
