From Jessie with Love

I thought I'd share this with you all. It's from our friend Jessie, Do remember her in your prayers and if you can, send her a card. She is on our snail mail list!

Christmas

Children are nestled, With visions of sugarplums Dancing in their heads Reindeer food glows on the lawn

In hopes that Santa can find his way

Ribbons, bows, and miles of tape Garland hangs above every door

And around the rails

Mistletoe adorns the doorway

Candy canes on the large size

Run the length of the sidewalk outside

Icicle lights run around the house

Tree smell permeates the gifts

Awaiting for Christmas morn

Memories of homemade ornaments

Hang for all to enjoy and recall

The smell of homemade pumpkin pie

Wafts through the air

So thick you can almost eat it

Tree skirt disappears

Abundance covers it

Thanks be to God

We remember the true gift

This season does bring

He doesn't need to be gift wrapped

Jesus is the reason for the season

Let us not forget that

In all the Christmas excitement

I wish you and yours

The merriest Christmas ever

From Jessie Maier

Thanks for sharing that M-C! Jessie is soo creative! How wonderful she is still even with the major hurdles in her life.

Awwww. :*)

Prayers continue to go up for Jessie's full recovery. I didn't know her, but she really seems to be an awesome person. :*)
