Looking for De Fil En Aiguille Magazine

Aug 13, 2008 9 Replies

Hi, all,

I am looking for a particular issue of the French magazine "De Fil En Aiguille" -- Hors Series 22 (Atelier de Brodeuse). I have looked everywhere and I am talking worldwide! My rusty high school and college French and German are just about worn out from the hunt!

I first saw it on

but they did not have any issues available. A very nice person on RCTM from Australia (hi, Joanne!) suggested the German shop

and they have said that it is back ordered but I think it will be permanently out of stock.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks so much, Allie Orange snipped-for-privacy@comcast.net

You could try European Crossstitch. They might be able to help you. Or google some of the French designers - someone might have it.

just typed the name of the magazine, the series and number in to google. I had to use the translation version to read itShirley

Hi Shirley,

I'm intrigued by the beaded card

which looks like it would be quick to make up even though I'm counting challenged. It'd make a good addition to the stuff I'm crafting for sale at an upcoming charity event. Is the pattern/chart available somewhere?

Just had a huge search for the book and a good thing too. Correction the book is from the same publishing stable and it is Jantina Lanting who is the designer. The book is in Dutch but with a separate sheet with the graph for punching the holes for stitching. I had to follow the pictures in the book to make the card. The book ISBN number is 90-5945-066-3

I got mine from a craft show from Rosarama Beadcraft. I have just been on her web site but she does not appear to have any books at all. Shirley

Shirley, thanks for the information. Times like this, I wish I were multilingual and could count
