For the non-French among us, allow me to interpret:

Hey ya'll,

David would like to announce a new site, created by Franco-Telephone (the subsidiary of Franco-American) featuring their lobster-something-er-other. There's no tarter sauce tho.

Among the site favorites is a forum discussing information on fowl banquets, pictures and voting for (town)crier (referring to Arnold's governorship). Tipping is appreciated.

Please turn out in huge numbers and remember to wear your face shield and use dust protection.

;)

Have mercy. You posted to a humble group of turners who like boys. (or maybe... act like boys. Yes, that's it, act like boys - 'cept in Ruth's case, then the former is more likely the proper interpretation. French can be so ambiguous, oui?)

I'm ROTFLMAO too. (after my better educated half explained) I wonder how much of our 'groping' banter in English isn't understood? Arch

Owen, you've missed your calling. You should definitely be working at the UN!

pour ce que j'ai pu appercevoir dans son codage de site, il y aurait de la place pour les tourneurs.

For what i could see inhis site coding, there would have room for woodturners.

confirmation quand site arrangé

Confirmation when site debugged M.M.

I returned to check the link given in the first message of this thread and it was corrected; I need some time to fully appreciate this newly acknowledged site to me

Je suis retourné pour vérifier le lien donné dans le premier message de cette discussion et il a été corrigé; j'ai besoin d'un peu de temps pour pleinement appécier ce site nouvellement porté à ma connaissance

Added a turning section?? May be it's just me but didn't see it for the moment but hey, i was stuck and 8 hours later it was o.k. so....i'll get back to see another woodturning point of view

Ajouté une section tournage?? Peut-etre c'est juste moi mais je ne l'ai pas vu pour le moment mais hé, j'étais bloqué et 8 heures plus tard c'était o.k. alors....je retournerai pour voir un autre point de vue de tournage

Have a nice day y'all of rcw

Bonne journée à vous tous du rcw M.M.

C'est sous la section le Forum autorisé et est appelé "Tournage."

It is under the section entitled Forum and is called "Tournage." Nothing in there as yet.

Glad you were tickled - in my defense, it was getting late in the night when I wrote it and I must have been a bit punchy.

High School French along with a generous dollop of Easy Translator 4. An excellent translation program. I don't deserve any compliments on it. Loved the language when I took it in H.S., but haven't used it seriously in

43 years.
