new OT discussion - Karen's FOID card

Gotcha interested, don't I.

Just wanted to say I noticed that I don't care what I look like on my driver's license, but on my FOID card I made sure I sent in a real pretty picture with hair combed and face nicely painted. Didn't want them to think I look criminal, which my driver's license may leave some doubt of.

I own a nice little antique 410 shotgun and I love it. But alas, not wanting to out 'man' DH, I never took up hunting.

Don't want to get into a heated discussion, so I'll just say that i enjoy my sport and I'm good at it.

My unique situation is that I am left-eyed and right-handed, and therefore just can not site down the barrel. I have to learn to shoot from the hip some day without have the darn thing kick itself right outta me hands! (all this is done safely, do not worry) Those of you who can't hit anything, maybe you have the same condition of being left-eyed and right-handed, or vice versa. A well seasoned hunter pointed this out to me a long time ago and I felt much better about not hitting anything. LOL
