I'm most likely to use plain or textured cardstock, with patterned paper as a feature rather than the whole thing... I'm LEAST likely to use 'photo paper' or preprinted 'theme sheets' - I bought some of both because I thought they were neat but I gave them away or turned them into envelopes because they didn't work for me...

i use cardstock as the first layer then some sort of patterned paper. if i'm malking a page about DD then i use flowers, girly stuff but if it's a page for DS i use "manly" type paper. but i always use cardstock as a base.

I use patterend paper the most as a background. Flowered, striped, geometric, real pictures, pre-titled themed paper....all of those have/would be used by me. Sometimes I'll use a paper with a barely visible patterned, but I really like a background with a visible pattern. It's rare that I use plain cardstock as a background, but I have done it before.

I use a combination of A and B. I think that a full sheet of patterned paper is too busy. I tend to like pages with lots of white space.

I use a commbo of A, C, D, E, any patterned paper. Sometimes the patterned paper is the background and I use CS to mat or I use CS for background and highlight with patterned paper. Just whatever strikes me LOL The last page I did was CS with ripped paper on the edges.

H.

Just depends on what my mood is--I tend to use plain solid cardstock as a background, then use the textured for framing pics, etc., and design papers for accenting/embellishing. But some design pages, though thin, end up being my background depending on the subject. Still, I like the sturdier cardstock better most of the time.

I usually use the plain cardstock as the base and then use my second layer as a patterned paper that goes along with the colors of the pics or with the theme.

I use plain stock. I sometimes use pattern paper, but alot. When I have tried to use pattern paper you can't see what's on it by the time I put everything on it. Then I feel it's useless to even use it. I guess I need to learn how to use pattern paper.

Mainly A (plain cardstock) with a touch of B (barely visible pattern).

I use ALL paper!! I mix it up and whatever fits the mood color, whatever. I have not used much flowered or girly stuff though. Paper with pictures (photo like I call it) I make sure it goes with my pictures background then I may only put one or two pictures on it so as not to hide much of the picture paper.

Of course my problem is CHOOSING the paper - LOL!

I guess H! I tend to start off with Cardstock, and use matching patterned paper, torn or in strips, whatever matches the mood or colors of the pictures. then I use another color of cardstock for matting.I very rarely use the pretitled papers, or the 12x12 real pictures. I have one of those photo stacks that I rarely use!
