What are you collecting?

Some are talking about end of year squishes, and some are planning holiday gift lists, so this is a good time to ask: What fabric are you collecting now?

I'll start. Batik. (After seeing Wendy's WIP, I'm on the Batik Bandwagon!)

Fabric with Words and Letters.

Neon colors.

Surprisingly, I'm not looking for anything at the moment other than time to finish some WIPs.

Same here - Ms. Mary. I'm getting rid of stash - no building it. But I can't resist a jewel colored batik - no matter how hard I try. I console myself about my addiction by telling myself I will give it away but know in my heart that I will fondle it for a very long time before I do that.

Pat, you are doing the right thing! (Here's a ((((hug)))) for your medical issues, whatever they are!) My medical issue is pretty trivial, just coming down with a cold, but to make myself feel better, I just went out and bought myself that cute little Swiss "knife"! Had a bit of mad money stashed away for just this sort of thing, and can't think of anything madder to spend it on! It's actually not just a cool toy, but a very practical little portable toolbox -I know I'm going to use the sewing machine needle inserter quite a lot. And there's a little widget for pulling threads to the back of knits when you get a snag. And a notch on the outside of the rotary cutter just for cutting threads. And the scissors are much more serious-looking than the usual Swiss knife scissors -they make that swishy sharp noise we all love. About the only thing it doesn't have is a knife blade. But there's a "regular" Swiss knife for that, the one with the corkscrew and bottle opener... Roberta in D

ANY kind or color of handdye.

I love them and can't get enough of them. My problem is, I love them so much I don't want to use them. But they do make such beautiful quilts. I like using handdyes over solids for fillers or sashing and stuff like that.
