Some time ago DSis gave me 6 x-stitches to make something for DS with, they're birds in clip art style. 3 have a blue sky type background and 3 have a green leaf background. The design area is roughly 4" square. I couldn't remember what was intended for these and DSis can't remember either, so we've decided to turn them into a floor cushion for DS.
Now I need some ideas on what would work with these to patchwork them together, 6" blocks would work well as that would leave roughly 1" surround for the x-stitches. The birds with the blue background are a pink flamingo, a white pelican, and a puffin. The green background birds are various parrot types.
