Cleaning out supplies

Hi all, I am cleaning out my supplies of items that I no longer use, cause want to get into more digital sb. I have Creative Memory templates, 17 that include the basic shapes round (3), oval (4), hearts (3), star, wavy circle, diamond, triangle, starfish, hexagon, pentagon. Also, have the Lighthouse cutting system with 17 shapes and

7 blades. I also have the Sizzix big red machine with converter plate and extra new pad. And the Sizzix sidekick. My question is what is a fair asking price for these items? Please email me if you have any ideas on this. snipped-for-privacy@cfl.rr.com Thanks, Hilda

Welcome to the "dark side", Hilda. LOL

Are you planning on using a program dedicated to digital scrapbooking (if so, which one & what do you think its advantages & disadvantages are), or will you be creating "from scratch"? I was doing it long before I ever heard the term "digital scrapbooking", so I was using Adobe PageMaker back then & still do today. I'm sure the dedicated sb programs have a lot of fun elements that are easy to pull into a layout.

Just had a request the other day from a cousin who wants a copy of an album I'd made for my dad several years ago. Luckily, since it's digital, I can send it to her on CD & she can have it printed. It's my only one (to date) done in an 8.5x5.5 format (boy it was a challenge to vary the pages -- lots of text besides images -- on a format that small). When I did it I special ordered the album & sheet protectors by mail from a company that specializes in photo albums. Was happy to see about 2 weeks ago at Staples that they now carry the white view binders in that size as well as the sheet protectors.

I have Photoshop Elements that I need to learn. And I have the Epson

12" printer. Also, I have a few of the other programs but they seem so basic. I've been putting it off cause it doesn't seem as much fun. But, like you said it is easier to share electronically. Hilda

You could do an ebay search for the items and see what they sold for to get an idea of a fair price.
