I would have bought my Cricut a lot sooner. I love my machine, now that I know how to layer it is a required tool for all my card making needs. I'm still addicted to my stickers but god how l love my cricut. xoxox Kate

I dont own an electronic cutter, but I have the Sizzix (which i hardly ever use anymore) because I also have a Cuttlebug. I think I would actually like to learn to use a machine like those mentioned, and practice a lot with it before I purchase it. I would love to have a Cricut but I dont know which size I would like better, or if I would really use it a lot to justify the expense. Linda

If I had to do it all over again I would still have bought my Cricuts. With SCAL I can create whatever my heart desires and I can use my Cricut to make Tshirts and decorate cakes and I am even working on a file that hopefully will let me cut fabric to make liners for my BiPap mask.

I still have the sizzix machine. I did sell most of my dies to buy a Klic-N-Kut. I wish thought I would have just bought the Cricut instead. The KNK is way to much to learn for me. I did sell it and buy the Cricut Expression. If you are going to buy a Cricut, go for the expression. I love that I can put a 12x12 piece of paper on it. I use my cricut all the time for cards. I have the SCAL and use it too for files I buy off the internet or get free. You can get a weekly free file from myscrapchicks.com. Love that site.!!! Highly recommended. Now you can buy a upgrade to the SCAL to cut out the layers and not they whole file at once.

i have a sizzix big shot, a cuttlebug, and a cricut. I have over 100 dies for the sizzix. I chose to keep them becasue you can cut chipboard linolium and such with the sizzix. I found that stampin' up has a few cuttlebug imbossing folders that are cool that sizzix itself doesn't. They make them exclusively for stampin up. You can order them from our group rep Debbie. They are the manhattan flower and petals a plenty (looks like pointsettias) for $7.95 each. Cutathome.com gives you a 40% off code for one thing each month from their website. This is how i got most of my spellbinders cutters.

Linda,

Watch for the Black Friday sales. I got my small cricut for $99 when I bought it on Black Friday a couple of years ago, and my kids bought me the big one for less that $200 with two carts last year the day after Thanksgiving.
