Dee Gruenig has 2 new stamp sets out........(long)

I went to Albuquerque Saturday Oct 4th. DH and I flew over there for the day.

As we flew in at 9am their time we saw several balloons in the air north of town for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. After we got our rental car and headed that way the balloons had already went down or were out of site by then. We didn't come for them anyway.

After the tramway ride to the top of the SAndi Peak and back down, we headed for Rhonda's Creative Crafting Center to see a big collection of Rubber Stamps for sale and Dee was teaching classes there. I walked in and asked for Margo, a lady I cruised with. She came out and I asked if she remembered Darrell and I from the cruise. Then I walked in the class room and Dee was excited to see us too. I turned around and went todo shopping and Darrell went to the car to wait...er...a sleep! I was shopping when Dee come running out to ask me if I had any stars(folded dollars) on me and I didn't. I tried to do one with out the instructions but just couldn't do it. I had the nice lady look it up on the computer and print a picture of it for me. I gave it to Dee and then took a few pictures then left. I bought 2 of Dee's new sets of stamps. One came out for the fiesta. and another for TEXAS. The stamps are not even released to the rest of the country yet. Not till Wednesday! I got mine from her 5 days early!. Pictures of them in my webshots.

We then proceded to another scrapbook store. Scraps Galore. It was fairly big and had quite a bit of stuff except NO nestabilities!. But i did buy several sheets of PAPER!!!... Sparklely paper!

Left there to go eat at the TEXAS land and cattle Restuarant. Oriental Manager saw my camera and thought I was there for the balloon fiesta. I told him nope, came for a Stamping friend. Balloon fiesta goes until the 12th. American Idol singer Josh Gracin was there Saturday too!. Didn't see hiim unfortunatly.

Left there to visit with my Aunt. Had a nice visit and then left to the airport. We had to catch a flight out at 6:30 back home. Then swing by get my daughter and home by 10:45pm. Wow what a day. Also worked to get these pictures up too. Check out all my pictures posted in webshots.

Alaskan cruise ones still being worked on though..... coming soon

Hi April,

What an exciting and long day. Hope you get a nap today. :)

Thanks for getting the pictures up I really enjoyed seeing them. I can't believe the stamps are already on EZ Mount and on a page for a binder. Boy that would sure save me time. Very cute stamps.

Sounds like you had a very fulfilling day of travel, shopping and dining! The pictures were beautiful, and I know pictures never do beautiful scenery justice. That tram ride looks a little scary! You have realy been quite the traveler, lately! I cant wait to see Alaskan cruise pictures! Glad you had a good time! Linda
