Diana Gabaldon's Outlander inspired papers

Does anyone here know anything about some new scrapping products inspired by Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series?

A friend of mine works in a little local scrapping store and she called me to say that she say an add in one of the magazines they just got in about some Outlander themed papers etc. They had the Fraser clan motto "je suis prest" which means "I am ready".

I love these book series and I was wondering if anyone has seen these products or used them? I guess I'll have to stop by my friend's shop sometime to take a look at that magazine.

Thanks!

Oh my I love this series. I got 2 of the books on CD for Christmas and I'm currently listening to the lastest book in my car. Don't know what I do with the paper as I only have one picture of Diana when she came to California many years ago. Maybe I'd do a page. Her web site says nothing about this paper and you'd think she'd say something. I'll be keeping my eye out for it that's for sure. Thanks for the heads up.

It is my very favorite series ever!! Diana is the benchmark I hold all other writers up to, and most fail miserably. She has ruined me for other books, lol! Marilyn- you read the books yet? They are about a 18th century Highland hottie (he is in my mind anyway, lol!) and his time-traveling British love. Great, great series...I am sad I finished the 6th book, now I have to wait forever for the next. I periodically read the entire series again...may have to start them over after I finish the not as interesting Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind...

I'm just now re-reading "Drums of Autumn" for the 2nd time (after re-reading the first 3) in preparation for getting the next two to read for the first time. Had planned on waiting until she finished the series to read them all in order, but needed a book to read a few months ago & "Outlander" was the only thing on my shelf that called to me.

Had gone to Scotland between the first reading & now, so it was fun thinking "that sounds familiar" when they'd visit or mention a place in the book. I'd wonder whether I was remembering it from reading it before, but most of the time when I looked on the map, it was because I'd actually been there.

:::waving "hi" to my fellow Outlander fans:::

Sorry Arleen....never heard of her! ROFL I am not really a fiction reader at all and seldom even know the names of popular authors in the UK ...so if she is a US writer there is no chance....LOL

I'm up for some new reading material. How many books in this series are already out? Sandy

There are six books out currently and each is huge (800-1000 pages I'd guess). There will be at least one more but possibly two (with the way Diana writes ;-) to finish up around the year 1800.

Be warned, once you start reading these books, your family and friends will wonder what happened to you! All you'll want to do is read and talk about Jamie and Claire! You'll probably start saying things like, "dinna fash yerself" or "are ye daft?" and "Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ!" and rolling your r's.

The books are written so well that you will feel like the characters are real. In fact, some of them are actual historic figures. Diana has done a tremendous amount of research so that even the day to day things are accurate. They seem like old friends to me because I have read this series so many times. Each time a new one is released, I start re-reading from the first one.

This is the order of the books:

Outlander Dragonfly in AMber Voyager Drums of Autumn The Fiery Cross A Breath of Snow and Ashes

I bet we'll get a few more people hooked! I should get a finder's fee from Diana for all the people I have turned onto this series!

Actually, her first book came out in the UK before the US and it was titled CrossStitch. That was many years ago. I am more of a Science Fiction reader and never cared for Romance novels, but friend got me hooked on her. It's kind of a Science Fiction/Historical Romance.

There are 6 if you don't count her side story of one of the characters.

These are my favorite books. They are permanent residents on my night stand. I just finished the most recent one and am thinking about reading them all again (3rd time).
