Make my own papers

OK, so I ignored DH when he gave me funny looks a few weeks ago, but my DD has been telling EVERYONE who'll listen..."my MOM took pictures of scrabbled eggs!"

Yes, I took pictures of scrabbled eggs and I'm proud of it!! I took the picture, clipped a section and enlarged it to 8x11 size...presto! The perfect background paper for a recipe swap where scrabbled eggs are a main ingredient.

Last night, during the girl scout meeting, DD tried to label me being so silly that I would take a picture of a cast iron skillet, but I explained..."That one I just downloaded from the internet...someone else was silly enough to take a picture of a skillet". That one is getting turned into a shaker. ;-) sssh!

Lastly, a friend commented she was having trouble finding leopard print paper for a few LOs. I said, let me see what I can do...DD was a leopard for Halloween when she was 3. I still had some fabric so out came the digital camera and wham-bam leopard print on both paper & cardstock.

We scrapbookers get a lot of funny looks and put up with a lot of family rib-pokin'....

One of the recipe swaps awhile back someone took a picture of their salad and turned it into background paper. I asked her where you found the perfect paper and she said she made it!

LOL! You guys are so smart! Think that is a fantsatic idea. I don't have a good printer so I can't print backgrounds yet. I think I will put that on my Christmas list.

We do take a lot of ribbin' though!

I simply LOVE that idea!!! I've been looking for 'pizza' paper, and I found one peice, but it's kind of--well--cheesy, hehe. No pun intended. Looks like tonight I'll have pizza, AND new paper!!!
