If you get one as a baby, they are great pets! Butterbean is sweet. It's just their nature. They're pretty gentle and docile. My regret is that we got her as an adult. Our first pig, Milkbone, was like a little dog. She wanted to be held all the time, gave kisses, wheeked when she wanted attention. She'd stand up in the pen for you to pick her up. She had so much personality. She was a real "people pig".

Glad everyone liked Butterbean's picture. I want to re-do it in the grass, because the green would be such a pretty background. I did it once, but the grass was too long, and it's been raining, so I'm waiting for it to dry out.

When DD was at Performing Arts camp, hubby and I made her silly cards with Butterbean's and Spike's pictures. Since they go to camp and get in different groups (drama, comedy, ballet, modern dance, art, music............), we put the Bean Queen's ballet picture on a card and inside wrote, "Do you think I could try out for Ballet?"

DD said that all the other kids wanted to see her cards because they liked the Bean and Spike pictures. Of course there was one who had to say that HER parents didn't make her cards, but BOUGHT them. Lol. DD couldn't have cared less. She'd much rather be sent funny cards with her pets on them rather than a store bought card!
