Has the box landed in Seattle yet? :-) I was just wondering where it was, and in the midst of looking for a post, ran across this one. I don't remember seeing Mel's post, or the replies. How'd I miss that? LOL

When it gets to the last person, does it get to start all over again!!?

There's one last person after Melissa and then it will come back to me. I think we can do another round! :-) I also believe Sandy is opening up the Baby embellishment box again.

I'm sealing the box back up and shipping it out tomorrow! I'll post everything I took and donated and announce the name then, so this little tease is all you get tonight! Great stuff folks!

I keep reading about the embellishment box! I am new to this group and it sounds like so much fun. I have things I could add also. How can I be included? Is it like a contest or something you sign up for. Can you please let me know. Thanks for your time. Michelle

The Embellishment box is a "round robin" type swap. Round Robin swaps start at one place, then travel around to the participants and end up back at the starting place again. You can find out all the details about this Embellishment Box on the RCS website at

On the menu on the left, click on Swaps, then Ongoing Swaps, then "Deb's Embellishment Box Round Robin Swap".

The box should have one more person it goes to, then that person will send it back to me. I'll probably put out another call for participants once it gets back to me again. Sandy is also hosting a Baby Embellishment box for baby themed embellishments.

My friend and then neighbor "Jessica" received the embellishment in the mail one day. I was lucky enough to be at her house at the time and got to watch her thrill in excitement over all the scrapbooking embellishments people were giving up, contributing to the round robin; trying to decide what she wanted and then of course what she could contribute of equal value. It was so exciting, when I got home I immediately signed up on the newsgroup. I could hardly wait for my 3 months of posting and participating to expire so that I could join in the fun of the swaps. And what I found was that I was addicted. Addicted to the community this newsgroup provides. I was allowed to participate in the monthly challenges from the get-go and did when they interested me. And, before I knew it I was a bonefide member and qualified for the swaps. I've been here a year now and this is my first go with the Embellishment box but I also got to participate in the Rainbow Swap where participants choose a color and swapped LO elements of their colors (my first and it was very cool!), a recipe swap, and a baby embellishment box of baby stuff. There's one more person on this round then it sounds like they'll have sign ups again. You may not qualify for it if it starts up immediately but by the end of that round you certainly would be able to get in. All you have to do is sign up. But, in the meantime, enjoy the camaraderie and participate in the challenges that interest you. There's enough fun here, all you've got to do is look!

Did I miss a post? I haven't seen one where you finished your tease and let us know what you took out, put in, and who the box went to. You gotta share all the details with us! Inquiring minds want to know. :-)
