Graduation Memory Album

Nov 09, 2004 8 Replies

Hello all! I am making a High School memory album for my daughter. Jostens had one that you could buy but my dd said - "Mom, you could make me one that would be so much better than these!". Awww.... Anyway, I am having trouble finding graduation/school stickers and embellishments that aren't on the cutesy side. DD isn't so much a fluff and stuff girl - she leans toward the more artsy style of things. If anyone has any ideas or knows of places I could find more suitable things for her please let me know.

Walmart has some graduation tags and embelleshments that I found quite nice. They're in tones of black and grey. I can't remember the name brand of them though.

I used the Jolle's Graduation stickers on my son's album.

I'm in the same boat as you Donna. My daughter told me the same thing. Which, M-C is why I was up past one am this morning. She just got her senior packet yesterday. I can't believe the prices Jostens wants for all those invitations and empty memory albums. I feel your dilhemma.

Have you checked with LSSs in your town or nearby, as several towns around get special scrapbook items for the schools near them, even albums.

I'm fairly new to scrapbooking - this will be only the 5th album I've done so far - (4 mini size, and one full size). We do have a new store here in town - I'll have to check it out - thanks for the tip!

I have an old CM (out of print) gradution "snap pack" that I really have no use for. If you 'll pay shipping - I'd be happy to send it to you - it's got some great stickers, die cuts and some ideas.

Email me personally @ snipped-for-privacy@gmail.com if you're interested.

I had just noticed the items turning up at some of the ones I go to in the spring. Glad to help Donna.
