Hand Tinting Attempt

I tried my hand at hand tinting.

I want to try to do a few vintage photos for a layout and this stamp from the stamping ground was a good first image. I'm turning it into a card probably tomorrow.

You guys are such great enablers over the past year that I'm so glad that I've risked trying stuff outside my comfort zone. Kate

Did you do this digitally or analog (pens, paint, etc.)?

Doing it digitally is very easy and fun and you don't have to worry about making mistakes.

Robert,

I don't do a lot of creation via digital techniques except for layouts and such.

This was done completely by hand.

It started out life as a rubberstamped image and then I chalked the color in.

I'm a budget artist, I don't have a lot of technology at my disposal and what I do have I make sure it can be used for other things before I buy it.

Well, you did a great job and I feel the same way about electronic gadgets. I love them, but to buy them they have to do a lot and be good quality.

Very nice Kate! I've never used a photo stamp, but I've seen some that Kenda's played with. You did a great job with yours, very life-like.
