Happy new year everyone...I hope you all have a happy 2008.

We are staying home (as always) and watching the ball drop on tv. It is only 10:20 and the Bumpuses across the street have already started with the fireworks...so we get to listen to that for the next 2 hours, so we couldn't go to bed if we wanted to!

Happy new year, April

Happy New Year and a crafty new year to all. Hugs, Lynne

We're home. With kids we stay home and safe. Board games, movie, sparkling cider at midnight. Also our traditional New Years bean dip.

Hot Cheddar Bean Dip

1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans, drained & mashed 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or less 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Stir all ingredients together until well mixed. Spoon into a 1 - 1.5 qt ovenproof dish.

Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serve hot with tortilla chips.

Home with the kids here, too. We have finger foods, non-alcoholic champagne and movies till the last one drops (any more I'm first).

Happy New Year to all my friends in this wonderful group! May your lives be healthy and prosperous this coming year. I went to a friends house to play cards last night, had a couple of glasses of wine, and was home by 10:30. DH was already in his lounge pants and sweatshirt in front of the TV. My youngest spent the night with a friend, and my oldest went to a friends house for the evening. DH and I went to bed before midnight!! We're getting old.....:-)

Happy 2008

we were watching a movie called "namesake" and just sitting together. DD was in bed at 9:30 and DS was in Amarillo at fathers for a few days. My brother brought him to Amarillo on his way to see his girlfriend that lives there.

Happy New Year everybody. We stayed at home watching TV and eating too much :) First we had the plan to go to the Brandenburger Tor but it was closed due to too many people, so we decided just to stay at home. Susanne

Belated wishes for everyone too! :-) Been pretty busy here, hoping sometime this week to have enough energy to work in my hobby room again! :-)

If your interested, here's my latest sonogram of the twins. (I'm almost 12 weeks along)

Next week I have another big ultrasound appt to check for Down Syndrome, etc. and hopefully we'll find out the babies' genders! I feel like it's b/g, hubby wants b/b, we'll see! :-) Say a little prayer for all of us if you would!

In the video clip, Baby "A" is on the left and Baby "B" on the right, asleep. A wiggles around a lot and toward the end wakes up B! Wish I had more of this, it was great watching it live, plus Maya got to go with me for the first time and watch live! Wish I'd taken the camera to record the look of amazement on her face. :*)
