I did! My DH gave me the Crop Station!!! I got ALL my supplies in it.

He was sneaky about it too. Michael's had it on sale about three weeks ago. I circled the picture and wrote "great BD idea!!". I then folded the paper so the picture was facing out and set it on the dinning table where he typically sits. Later that day, I found it on top of the recycle pile with the rest of the old newspapers.

A few days ago, we was acting like he didn't know what to get me. I about hit him over the head. :-) So I spelled it out for him. I even set out my LSS discount card with a note indicating an alternative store.

When it came time for gifts, I opened everything else and my DH made it look like the perfume the kids gave me was from him too. It wasn't until after a dramatic pause that he sent my DS after the BIG box hidden in the dinning room. Sneaky.

I spent the rest of the evening organizing & filing!!

What a great gift and great story. My DH is scared to buy me any Scrapping stuff even when I spell it out for him. Enjoy your gift and the memory of the surprise.

Glad you had a great BD Amy!!! What a sneaky hubby. I'll bet you were just a little disappointed at first! What a darling DH!!! Glad you got everything organized, I seem to spend most of my time organizing!

Wow! Thank y'all so much for all the birthday greetings. This was a hard birthday for me (hint: it was between 39 and 41). My DH would NEVER buy scrapbooking supplies. He threw a birthday party (not a surprise) and got me the DVD's for "Wonder Falls" (a great show that only aired 4 episodes before being cancelled, but they are selling the set of all 13 taped episodes). I ended up gaining about 3#s this week (I'm on WW so I have to go to weigh-in tomorrow), but I realized that being "that number" isn't so bad...the alternative would have been to die last Tuesday! LOL
