Thanks Kenda and everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes. I had a relaxing birthday which started at 12:00am with my first present, a box of

92 Crayola Crayons with an integrated sharpener from my DH. (We were walking by a display a couple of days ago and he said he had never been given the big box of crayons as a kid and I said me neither!) I laughed so hard when I saw them. Then I woke him up at 8:30 (I debated walking him up at 4:30 but took pity on him) for my "real" present which was a beautiful piece of Sworovski Crystal called "The Turtle Doves". Next I logged on the newgroup and saw all your wonderful b-day wishes, laughed when Rick's aunt called to sing me happy birthday which was also sung to me in French by my brother, SIL and their two children and later in bilingual format by my son! One of Ricks two cousins whose birthday is also today also called. Between the singing calls I also got another couple of phone messages and some very nice and thoughtful e-cards. I went out briefly to buy some new clothes and then we decided to order pizza for supper! (I spent all my money at Hobby Lobby and the LSS yesterday!) BTW there were some Sterilite (?) 3 drawer 12x12 paper holding desktop plastic chests for under $8.00 at Hobby Lobby. Each drawer is about 3 inches high. Deb and I bought the 3 that they had because we were sure that if we turned around someone would snatch them up. The smaller sized 3 drawer ones by the same company were more expensive by more than a dollar!

All in all it was a wonderful birthday despite the fact that it is also the anniversary of my most beloved grandfather's death and that we all lost Jean-Paul II today. Thanks everyone for being part of what made this day so special!
