Hi! I've been searching Google Groups for a couple of days, looking for the right scrapbook group to join. I am so glad I found this one...everyone seems so friendly in their posts and it seems to be an active group. My name is Jodi, I live in Upstate New York and have 5 children. I have been scrapping for 4 years and have gone through many phases and styles in that amount of time. My latest obsession is textured cardstock and Becky Higgins Sketches. With five kids I have to scrap fast and this works well for me. One of my children has a chronic disease and our family has had the priviledge of staying at the Ronald McDonald House several times. If you are not familiar with Ronald McDonald House you should find one and visit it. It is amazing how they help families in crisis! Anyway, I started a scrap closet there for families to scrap the hard times of their children and babies. It has become a very healing ministry for many families. It brings people together while they scrapbook and allows them opportunities to talk about what their children are going through. Anyway..that is just a side note. Welcome to the group, Jodi. I have five children also, but mine range in age from 10 up to 31 with only two left at home. My oldest daughter also scraps, and she has five children. Her children range in age between 2 and 10, so I fully understand the lack of time, space and energy. She does most of her scrappin at a monthly crop, usually bringing the two older girls with her. They like to scrap and grandma (me) and their aunt (my youngest daughter age
