I bought the Circut

WOW I CANT BELIEVE IT.... my friend was sent 2 circuts by mistake and they let her keep it so she offered it to me for the price i paid for my Xyron personal cutting machine..i took that back and paid her the $100.00 and so now im a proud owner of this new cutting machine..Im so excited i never thought in a million years that i would own this cause i couldnt afford it..I so know this was a miracle.. Just had to share my good fortune.. Now i need to find a site where i can see about the cartridges..i know this one comes with 1 Font and 1 basic shapes.. hugs....chatty cathy

CONGRATULATIONS on your New BUG!! I am sure you will just LOVE IT! You may want to consider purchasing the Sure Cuts A Lot program. It doesn't cost that much more than a cartridge but you can use it to cut any TTF font on your computer. I just purchased it off of e-bay and let me tell you it is a breeze to work. The only thing is it has to be hooked up to your computer to use via a USB cable. I felt that was a small price to pay considering I do not usually tote the bug around with me. Speaking of the bugs I just upgraded to the Expressions machine. Wow, I can really cut some BIG STUFF!!! Best of luck with you new addition! Blessings, Dorothy in NY

Congrats! My DH bought mine for me last year for my birthday because AC Moore had them on sale for $124.00 and my friend had given me a $25.00 gift card to there so I got it for $99.00. I LOVE my Cricut. I have 2 suggestions for the cartridges. Ebay has a great selection and you can run across some great deals. Also this website:

is where I have bought many of mine. They are forever having a sale for as low as 39.99.

I am SO glad you got the Cricut as I also bought a Xyron cutter at Big Lots just to play with it and see how I liked it. 1/2 hour into it I was so frustrated and really hating it. I'm returning it today.

How are you doing with the Inkscape program? I am just about pulling my hair out trying to make a flirty purse template, I can't seem to get the dimensions to work out so the holes for the handle and the inserts line up.

then on Thursday a beautiful font cartridge (teardrop) I bought off Ebay arrived and Friday I went on a weekend scrapping retreat. Of course I had to take the lil bugger with me and we all had fun using it. I am so happy I got him!

Way to go Cathy! Have fun with your new toy. I don't have one personally, but after seeing what Kenda can do with hers and hearing about those that have them here, well, it just might get on my Wish List after all. Enablers! LOL
