I love my new fiber storage!

After getting the confirmation here that I could find what I was looking for at Micheals or Hobby Lobby. I ran right out and hit the embroidery aisle. My mouth fell open. I really should browse more often, who knows what I'd find! Anyway, to get to the point. They had exactly what I was looking for. For $1.99 I got a clear container w/ compartments that came w/ 100 of the cards to wrap the fiber around. 2 bucks is much better than what I can only imagine Cropper Hopper charges for theirs. I've spent more than a few evenings wrapping fiber round and round those cards while the tv plays. I'm actually tired of looking at fibers but still enjoy looking at how nice and neat they are in the case. I've also weeded out the fibers that I don't want. So when I get the time I'll be putting together some raks.

That sounds like one of those containers for like cross-stitch thread. Is that what you are talking about?

That's exactly what it is. I saw in Creating Keepsakes where they redid a scrap room for a lady and they had the same type storage container. Difference was their's is by Cropper Hopper so I know it's not cheap.

Jennifer and Katrina, I also found a new way to store eyelets, other than the MM little round things that open and they all spill out! I also store buttons and other small embellishments in them. I went to the hardware section at Walmart, and they had these rectangle plastic containers, that have little sections in it, similiar to the embroidery thread ones you are talking about, except these containers have more sections, and they are shallower! The best thing is, it was under $3.00!

Linda, don't ya just love a bargain!? I like reading about when one of us finds a great deal. Who says it has to have a sb company label on it? Besides, that's what we land up paying for, the label.

When I cross stitched I had one of those, passed on to my mom for her embroidering, never thought of using it for fibers then.
