I'm back....I think

Okay, Yes I finally had my gallbladder removed. Thankgoodness! It's great to be able to eat and not be sick! Or not eat and still be sick! I will have a longer recovery time as while the surgeon was inside (he looked around) he found that part of my large intestine (about 12 inches) had adhered itself to my abdominal wall, along where my "girly parts" used to be. So I am extremely frustrated as I think I should be further along than where I am, so I have to keep reminding myself I had more than "just a gallbladder" out. Saturday I WAY over did it. Our oldest DS graduated from a leadership school for ROTC. I would not have missed it for the world! There was alot of walking involved, so needless to say that after we got home I was inbed for the rest of the weekend. DH family has been wonderful, they have brought food everyday for us. So DH hasn't had to cook. My parents went out of town on Saturday (my grandpa has surgery tomorrow) so they left after DS's graduation. I hope I am up for the 15th-16th. I am taking it really easy, very hard to do as I am a recovering control freak! LOL The house isn't as clean as I'd like it but it's presentable, the laundry is done and bathrooms are clean so I can't complain. I will saythat while I've been gone you ladies and gentleman have talked alot! LOL I scanned the posts as there were over 500 posts that I hadn't read! Welcome to all the newbies. Jeanne congrats on being a new aunt! Jeanne, Kryss my prayers and good thoughts are with your families during these hard times. Deb, M-C...beautiful albums! You two have outdone yourselves! Kate, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the job you're looking for. Linda, I'm sorry your best friend moved, 6 hours is just a weekend visit, consider it a short retreat. Sabrina, Hope you have a wonderful time camping, I wanna join you! If I've misssed someone, I'm sorry, so many posts to read through!

Yeah, that's it Deb, We want to give Radar a vacation. Call it Kitty Vacation. At a lovely resort, it's all inclusive. All rooms, food, activities and entertainment are included. Even the spa is included. All the massages he could ask for. Yeah, that's it. It's Deb's story and Dave and I are sticking to it! LOL

Sounds like you're going to have to train Radar to do what I told my kids to do if anyone tried to pick them up that they didn't want... Crazy Monkey Child! hahaha

Glad they did the surgery, I have you in my thoughts for a quick recovery. Take it easy as much as possible. It great that you DH's family took care of the food.

Put an alarm on Radar when people visit, that goes off if they leave your door. :-)
