July CCC

As usual, I finished mine on the last day. For this card I scraplifted an idea from Jennifer McGuire. Thanks for looking.

The tree is so cute. How did you do the tree with all the designs. It looks like its one peice.

I made four christmas cards last night, and three more this morning... I'm having so much fun I might do some more tomorrow and get August out of the way early, but first I have a couple of cards to make for a swap.

I just counted up my christmas card stash and I have 32... so there's a fair way to go, but I'm getting there! Doing 5 or so a month is a lot more pleasant than trying to make 50 on December 1st, that's for sure!

They're in the 2008 crafts album, July xmas 1-5.

Turned out really nice. Love the stitching. Wish I did more of that.

Great cards Karen! You're putting some of us to shame, because you made yours with a broken hand! Lynne

Cathy, your card is awesome. I love that tree design! Great job.

Love your cards too Karen! Especially the second one with the 2 Santa heads. Is that 'Noel' a stamp or did you freehand that? It is very cute.

As for my cards, I sat down last night and started only to get halfway through 3 of them to realize I don't have any tape, or glue, or even glue dots. Because of the move, I don't have anything to keep my crafts together. *sigh* I was so disappointed. Oh well, I will have to wait until next month.

Good job everyone that got theirs finished!

> >Great cards Karen! You're putting some of us to shame, because you made >yours with a broken hand! > It's not 'broken' broken, just cracked... I can use it just fine, I just can't put any pressure on it by lifting/twisting/carrying heavy things etc. It was only really painful for a week.

I'm really glad to hear that the pain is gone. Broken bones can be tricky that way.

Thanks Shannon. I used a stamp on the patterned paper and then cut them out. I was inspired by some cards over at Two Peas done by Jennifer McGuire.

Thanks Lynne. I would probably do more sewing on cards and layouts if I would get my sewing machine fixed. I always forget about stitching on cards.

Thanks Crystal. Isn't it frustrating when you don't have all the supplies you need?

Cathy I love that tree you used! I should try to do more stitching. I have a sewing machine,,just no where to keep it set up and I dont want to drag it out just for a card or LO.. I have one of those little white sewing machine things..what a joke..I hate it and wish I had never bought it! LOL

Karen congrats on getting so many done! I like the one with the two Santas on it!

I like it a lot Cathy! What a great idea with the patterned paper! I wish I had such a steady hand for cutting.

They look good, Karen. I like the white one with the Christmas tree the most. Glad to hear your hand are healing.
