Making Memories Foam Stamps

I bought a pack to be used with paint but I'm not sure how to apply the paint to the stamp. Has anyone tried this?

I don't know what anyone else does, but I use a small foam plate and acrylic paper paints with mine. Just a dab of paint on the plate, brush it out with a paintbrush and stamp like a stamp pad. I usually rebrush the paint after every letter to keep the paint even and add as necessary. Wash off the faom letters with water when I'm done. A friend of mine uses hers on an ink pad just like a regular stamp. I like the look of the paints. Sandy

I use foam stamps. I either use a foam brush to apply the paint to the stamp or I put a thin layer on a paper plate and stamp in the paint and then stamp my item.

I have these but have never used them yet. I will be interested in the responses you get to this question. When I bought mine I was advised to apply the paint with a foam brush. I have since bought the MM paints (which I haven't used either...LOL) and there is a foam brush in the box with the paints.

I just use a small paint brush to apply the paint to the stamp. This way I can get the paint on the stamp evenly and don't have to bother going to get a plate. (Just call me lazy!)

It comes with a small plastic plate for you to pour a bit of paint on, then use the foam paintbrush to paint the stamp. Don't paint too much onto the letter or it'll look crinkly. Wash the stamp with soapy water as soon as possible afterwards. I love em...they're flying off the shelves at the stores near me.

We can't keep them either! I've yet to get a set, but I have used chunky stamps on my walls before. They work the same way.
