March cards uploaded

I uploaded the 6 cards I've made this month. I made another one, but forgot to scan it before I used it. Oh well. They're all different, some bday, a couple Easter, but just one Christmas. How the heck did I manage that? So hopefully I'll be get a chance to get some more Christmas cards done and scanned before Monday night!

I've been using some of my scraps of patterned paper to make cards. On one hand, it's a great way to use my pile of scraps that I always forget about, but on the other hand, it can be quite challenging. LOL

I really like the cards. Is the background paper patterned or did you add the lines? I like the effect either way!

I've been doing the same thing, trying to use up scraps. It is a challenge, but fun too.

Cute cards Deb. I like your Christmas card. Great job using your scraps. That is what I am working on to and using my stash. Great job with all the cards.

Here is a baby wipe technique from Splitcoast Stampers. Not sure if it is the same one she used though.

The only background that I did was the one for the Easter card with the chick on it. The background for the Christmas and bday are from the same patterned paper. I really like it, but I can't remember where I found it or who makes it. LOL

Thanks Crystal. I can't take credit for using the scraps. I did that at Kenda's house some time back when were havign a play day. It's a great way to use your stash of scraps!

Thanks Lynne! It's a really fun technique. All you need is a baby wipe and

2 - 3 reinkers. Open up your baby wipe and put 2 or 3 drops of reinkers on your baby wipe. I like putting the drops in the center of the baby wipe so I can hold the corners in my fingers. Just swipe your inked baby wipe across your cardstock. So easy, and really neat.

It's the same basic idea, except I put the drops close together, almost touching because they spread as the baby wipe absorbs them. And instead of using the inked wipe as a pad, I loosely wadded it up and swiped it across my cardstock.

Thanks Linda! I think that's one of my favorites, too.

Thanks Sandy. Crystal found a link to a variation of the technique and I replied to it with the different things I did.

Thanks Cathy! LOL Well, I think between my reply to Lynne and Crystal, I hope I've explained it well enough. If not, somebody please let me know!
