Those are great, Cathy. Simple, but very elegant. The colors and the simplicity go so well with the old photos.

Clean, simple and to the point. I like the color combination. Is that a windmill behind the house? I do love looking at old photo's. I couldn't read the journaling, but could tell you did quite a bit on each of the pages. Thanks for sharing. Sandy

Those are great Cathy! You're really coming up with some interesting layouts for old photos! My Mom has a bunnnnnnnnch of old family photos that need something done with them. Just add it to my list of albums to do at some point in time! LOL Thanks for your inspiration!

Great job cathy. Love the colors on the grandparents pages. Do you use 8

1/2 x 11 pages. I've seen a lot of people cutting pictures in half where the page meets in the middle. Is that what you have done on some of yours. I just can't seem to do that yet. Scared to separate the pictures on 2 pages. I looks nice on the stitched pages for web but how does it look on the book.

Thanks Chrissy. I thought the two shades of brown really complimented the pictures.

Thanks Selena. I really like the way they turned out. I can't wait to do the rest of them.

Thanks Sandy. Yes it is a windmill. Most of the journaling came from a family history that one of my Great Aunts did several years ago. She was a wonderful writer so it was easy to pick out the things I wanted to include.

Thanks Deb. Once I figured out the color scheme, they layouts were really easy to do.

Thanks Shannon. My pages are 12 x 12. I have done a two page layout where I cut a picture so part of it is on each page. It was kind of scary to do it, but the pages look great. I'll scan it for you to see if you like.

I have posted them in my New Pages folder. They are the Christmas 2003 layouts. I couldn't stitch them together as one large page, but you can see where I cut the picture and the journaling block.

Cathy I really love your style! Love the pics you used in the X'mas 2003 LO's. I'm crazy about "natural" phodies like that. Your heritage pages are GORGEOUS! Really stylish. My favorite one is "The Farm". That is an awesome photo...and the LO compliments it and presents it to its best. Thank you so much for sharing!
