I bought my new dayminder (schedual book) for the new year ,I decorated it and personalized it with rub-ons. It turned out awsome, I am heading to Staples this afternoon to pick up a couple more and do them up as Christmas gifts!

That does sound like a really cute idea. Can I ask what all you did to alter it? I haven't done much altering except for paint cans. I'm going to try and make some stuff this next week while I'm off. I'd really like to try doing more altered things.

I didnt do much altering Amanda, I just used really nice rub-ons. Ones related to family. It says "Days Like These" with sparkles, Family with cool swirlies, TIME in big letters sideways down the side,and "remember this" in a gorgesous cursive font (white). I used some with cool images, corners and so on. I might add some metal brads to it but I dont want anything that might come off like stick-on embellishments. I use my schedual book a hundred times a day! lol Id take a pic but I dont think it will show up well as it is black.
