I love doing this, maybe that shows in the pics... Oh I took over 200 pics... I figured it out with babies, make sure your lights can cycle fast because you have to shoot 5-6 shots in a row to get that giggle.. LOL.. I have lots of pics of her looking like "huh?" LOLOLOL

Those are really great. I just love the first one of the baby where you took her picture from behind. Keep up the great work. I'm sure you will have a great success in your career to come.

I hope.. now I need to own my own equipment so I can start charging!!! LOLOL In time... its a small list... Canon 20D camera, two monolights, two stands, tripod, two softboxes, a mini monolight and tripod with umbrella... a light meter, three backdrops (black, white, and a generic one), two backdrop stands, props, a posing table...

okay I'm getting depressed... LOLOL I'm going to start aquiring stuff in the spring... hubby is going to take out a loan for me to get the camera and monolights... the rest we will have to nickle and dime together... but it will happen... in time.. I opened two commercial accounts with two processors here (offer different things and good backups) and... the girl I did this with, gave me an order to put in for her after the new year... 5 8x10's, 10 5x7's 40 4x6's and 40 wallets!!! (all different poses).... sooo cool!!! I can't make anything off this (since I used school equipment I can't charge) but she will only reimburse me for my charges, but could you imagine how much I'd made? I worked 2 hours in studio and about 4 on the computer... so 6 hours at 250 dollars a sitting plus 15 bux a sheet... WOW.. thats decent money.....

okay I rambled.. LOLOL

I think I'm going to have to go back to school for this now.... ya'll are talking money.... j/k about the money part, but i would LOVE to go back to school. Photography was my first choice major, but i was told not to do it by mom and dad cuz i wouldnt be able to live off of it... guess ya'll just proved them wrong

Its a hard living... I'm taking some buisness management stuff after this because those that succeed in this either work for someone else (rare) over 80% of photographers are freelance... I'd love to work in a commercial advertising studio, so I made decent money for a while so I can buy all the gear I want and then open my own studio PT... most do multiple things.... so with your situation with the kiddo right now... I'd say.. no.. not for a while... its very expensive to do and most people with young kids drop out because its so time intensive... wait till he is in school.. LOL
