Got my ATCs

It was a nice surprise between the bills.

A couple are my favorites and one is Larry's all time "how did she do that?" I think it was polymer clay.

Thanks for hosting. Kate

Kate, I also got an ATC by you. It is the one with postage stamps and hard earned wisdom saying. I have really enjoyed the ATC's I got in today's mail. I made a polymer clay one. Thank you for sharing a bit of art with me. This was so much fun!

I sure don't know how I managed that. I was completely awake and aware when I was sorting the cards. Yours were in sleeves and I remember putting the new cards into the sleeves. You didn't have any empty sleeves did you? What did I do!?!

Now I really wish that I'd had the time to do the last two ATC swaps. But I'm afraid to get tangled up in yet another aspect of crafting!

Are you all starting to collect things specifically for ATCs or are you making do with scrapbooking and stamping products?

M-C, I know what you mean about starting another craft. I love making the atcs. So far I've only done ones for my rcs swaps. I'm getting ready to make extras now though. Yesterday I finally got to the craft store in downtown KC that hosts atc swaps there. They had a whole display w/ several samples and pkgs of precut cards as well as other items. Such a neat store. I'm going to set myself a goal of getting some cards done and going to one of their swaps. I haven't bought anything specifically for the cards yet. Oh wait, I did buy the pack of playing cards that I use for foundation. Two packs for a buck. I just use whatever I already have to create them. I see it as a good way to use up some stash. Think about it and hopefully you'll be able to join the next swap!

M-C I just use whatever I have on hand. My scraps come in really handy for these too!! I am getting to where I really like making them, because they are 'short' little projects. I will need to start shopping for something special to store and display them in. I think some one said they use baseball card pages? Those would be cheap too.
