Lauren had another followup Dr appt on her foot yesterday. There is still swelling present and she has not been released. She is now on Dr orders not to participate on the dance team for the rest of the field season. He is now putting her on meds to reduce the inflamation and we are hopeful that she will be able to participate in the Winterguard competition season. Thank you to all of you that have shown support and provided prayer...it's appreciated.

Awwww Susan. That just stinks! Please let Lauren know we are very sorry that she won't be able to finish the season dancing.

Tell Lauren at least it's not her senior year... :) I was on the colorguard (flag corp) for my high school band and my senior year, just before state competition, I broke my big toe during one of the city competitions. Couldn't march my entire senior year because I kept reinjuring it trying to return to soon. Now I'm 30 and have arthritis in that joint due to the repeated injuries... Anyway, tell her to follow her doctor's orders and know that she's not alone... Been there! Done that! Got the pain to prove it! Will keep her in my prayers!
