Went to Dr yesterday

I was feeling so tired, no past tired I could barely move and have been haveing a really hard time breathing for about a month and it was getting worse. I had to pick up the DGDs yesterday after quilting time so decided to stop by the Dr and see if he could work me in. I couldn't believe it they got me in and I didn't have to wait all that long. Found out why I have been so tired. My oxygen was only 93% normal is 96%. I am now on extra meds with strict orders to call if I don't start feeling better. I AM breathing better and have more energy I just need to remember to take it slow. Have done a load of dishes, I HATE this dishwasher. Told DH after he got the bathtub done I wanted MY dishwasher put in. I have to handwash the dishes before I put them in this one. Something wrong with this picture.

Found out where my blue jeans were, they have been in the dryer since Thanksiving morning. Does THAT tell you how bad I have felt? Rewashed the doggy bedding (yep they have been in the washer that long too. Ok off the try and get the laundry caught up and make some cookies. If I can may try and work on those blocks. HUMMMM didn't I say I needed to take it slow LOL.

Please stop, sit down, and see if you can't find somebody to go out and buy you some cookies. I'm sure DGD would love to bring you some cookies next time she comes over.

You may feel like you are being the best grandma in the world, baking her fresh cookies .... but you'll be a better grandma if you gowith store bought and stay healthy. Please rest. Please remember how important it is to your DGD that you keep breathing a long, long time.

Glad you're feeling better. Finally!! And take care of yourself young lady.

As for the dishwasher, may I make a suggestion? My old one wasn't very cooperative BUT if I put stuff in crooked (as in, not in neat rows -- think Picasso on Drugs) it cleans fine, without pre-washing. Basically, I just put the plates, cups, whatever in there and turn it on. Not here -- don't have a dishwasher here mind you...

Still, if you are messy with loading, you may just be surprised. Good luck, and please -- let mek now if this works for you. Good Luck... and rest!

Nope the one in the garage is the one DH bought me and it is much bigger than this one that came with the house. So the cleaning problem is not the only problem.

wow - I'm glad you got into the doctor. It also helps me to understand why my son so often feels so bad - he has cystic fibrosis and his normal oxygen levels are in the 80's!!

and yes - you need to take it slow!! Musicmaker

Musicmaker, if his oxygen level is in the 80's why isn't he on oxygen? When mom's gets that low they put her in the hospital. GrammyKahty

I have to correct my answer to you, Kathy. My son's average, healthy oxygen levels fluctuate between 90 and 97. When he's sick with anything that involves the lungs, it fluctuates between 78 percent (his lowest ever) and 89 percent. I was remembering his numbers from labor day when he got sick this past September, when they were down around 87 and he was on 24 hour antibiotics for a month.

The 78% reading was when he was taken to the emergency room of Denver hospital. He was in the airport waiting for his flight home when he began to cough up lots of blood - dry air, high elevation, and a tired immune system really hit him then. Imagine everyone's distress - his buddies had to get on a plane and leave him in Denver, and we had to keep in touch long distance, ready to fly out there if he didn't stabilize.

Hope this answers your question.
