I've had 2-cups coffee this morning; I hope no spiders are around me. LOL

I gently moved on a slightly bemused spider from my sewing machine, and herded another off the cutting area before a cat woke up and ate it!

Funny and annoying all at the same time. Our tax dollars went to get spiders stoned????? *sigh*

But, hey, it lets NASA know what NOT to feed the astronauts! Can't have them making goofy errors when they are a couple of hundred miles up...

Nevermind what's in it; let me tell you what it's good for. You can put a generous scoop of Tang in a coffee mug (right-side up, please) and run the dishwasher (empty, please) on full cycle. The Tang will clean the innards of the dw beautifully. Not that we care. If the police come by and want to inspect the inside of the dw, we'll just insist on seeing their warrant. Polly

I use Tang in my diswasher, too, and it does work very well!

How come your dishwasher gets dirty inside? Mine doesn't, the interior gets washed along with the dishes every day - sometimes twice a day if I have been cooking a lot.

Neither does mine, but then we empty the filter each time it gets used, and we have softened water so there is no chalk build-up for smelly germs to lurk in.

I once had a summer job (as a student) driving a large commercial dishwasher in a hotel kitchen. It had a strong stale dishwasher smell until I dismembered and scrubbed all the filters, and kept them clean. Chef was amazed that he no longer had to wash half plates before plating up meals, and the Maitre d' was flabbergasted that the glasses and cutlery no longer needed polishing before use. Scrubbing out those filters was a stinky and revolting job: keeping them clean was a piece of cake.
